Medusa

Medusa was designed after thinking about the way there are different myths and stories surrounding Medusa. Then thinking about women in history and stories how often:  they are painted as the villain the reason for something bad they need someone else to save them they need someone to tell them what to do. I thought about all that and designed Medusa. As well as thinking about how women themselves are misinterpreted and misrepresented. How what would happen if they told their story. Bunnies

Bunnies were designed after thinking about the different interpretations of bunnies that are around. I just thought I want to create my own bunny interpretation as well. Chopper #1 was designed thinking about a bunny that could chew through wood.  Drooly #1 was designed thinking about a cute & sleepy bunny.  Wormy #1 was designed after seeing a bad apple and thinking if it had worms or not.   I wanted to make sure all my designs were different from anything I had seen or could find.

Misunderstood and Misinterpreted are the first clothing lines for WIM.   Misunderstood includes designs that are based on things within one’s life that can be misunderstood. Like my childhood, sayings I have said or heard, my opinion in an argument, feelings for something, and more. People can take those things one way or another but my intention can be something else. Like when I say Pie is Evil, the first thing people is say “Oh, because you get fat.” No because everyone buys it instead of cake for parties and I love cake. They misunderstood my meaning and made assumptions....
